FXA WEEKEND FLAG FOOTBALL LEAGUES
FALL SEASON START DATE:
Beginning of September 2010
CAPTAIN'S MEETING:
All Pro League - To Be Determined @ Carpool in Herndon, VA.
Rookie League - To be Determined @ Carpool in Herndon, VA.
This is a Mandatory Meeting, so if the Team Captain is unable to attend, another representative from the team must be present.
FALL FOOTBALL KICK-OFF HAPPY HOUR:
To Be Determined @ Carpool Herndon from 6-9 p.m.
GAME DAYS
All Pro Co-ed League - Saturday Mornings / Afternoons
Rookie Co-esLeague - Sunday Morning / Afternoons
SEASON:
Each team will play 8 regular season games plus playoffs if you qualify.
Games times will range from 8:00am – 3:00pm.
Playoffs will be held the week following the regular season.
The number of teams that make it to the play-offs will be determined by the FXA
CONFERENCES:
FXA Weekend Flag Football moving forward will have 2 conferences - ROOKIE & ALL PRO.
-The ROOKIE conference is more recreational for new FXA teams and suggested for teams with under 1 year (3 seasons) experience.
-The ALL PRO conference is the ultimate flag football competition and suggested for teams with over 2 years (6 seasons) experience.
The ALL PRO conference plays primarily on Saturday mornings.
The ROOKIE conference plays primarily on Sunday Mornings.
*Please Note - Depending on the number of teams in each conference, the ROOKIE & ALL-STAR Conference may have some games on Saturday mornings and vice versa.
MAKE-UPS:
If a game is cancelled due to inclement weather, make-up games may be scheduled on another day than usual game days. Blast text messages/emails will be sent to the coaches when games are cancelled, it will be posted on the website, or you can call the FXA Hotline at (703) 382-9111 x20.
LOCATION:
All Games will be played on Grass Fields located in Fairfax County and will be posted soon.
FEES:
The charge will be $600.00 per team.
The charge for individuals will be $50.00.
You must make payment at time of registration using PayPal.
There will be a 20% late fee for registrations after May17th, 2010
CO-ED RULES:
Each team shall field eight players, with at least three women at all times. Every 3rd play must be a "female play" (see rules for more details). Click on the Rules Tab for complete rulebook.
WHAT'S INCLUDED:
The league fee includes 8 regular season games (plus playoffs if you qualify), 2 experienced referees per field, sideline markers/end-zone pylons, grass football fields, flag belts, and beer/food specials after the games!

AGE REQUIREMENTS:
Must be 21 years or older to participate in Fairfax Athletics.
PLAYER WAIVER & RELEASE FORM
Before any player can participate in FXA, they must submit their online waiver. It is the responsibilty of the Team Captain to make sure every player has completed this online waiver.
FXA Registration fees are refundable only at the discretion of Fairfax Athletics.
